Course Description

The General English Program at BTEC Foreign Languages (BFL), based at Battambang Teacher Education College, is designed to develop students’ practical English skills for real-life use. The program focuses on meaningful communication, not just reading and writing, with regular speaking and listening practice that students can apply in their daily lives.
Our structured learning approach follows internationally recognized Cambridge coursebooks, with clear and easy-to-understand learning stages. Classes are interactive and engaging, featuring activities such as pair work, group discussions, games, and digital tools like Kahoot to make learning enjoyable and effective.
Learn English with our expert courses, comprehensive resources, and dedicated exam support. Using Cambridge coursebooks—trusted worldwide for English language teaching and assessment—our program ensures high-quality learning aligned with international standards.
Students will also develop essential academic and professional skills, including writing emails, motivation letters, and curriculum vitae (CVs) for scholarship applications and job opportunities. The program also supports preparation for international English proficiency tests such as IELTS and TOEFL.
Flexible learning options are available, allowing students to study face-to-face or online, making it suitable for different schedules and learning preferences.
Upon successful completion, students will receive a foreign language proficiency certificate issued by BTEC Foreign Languages.
