English Language Club

The English Language Club of Battambang Teacher Education College (BTEC) serves as a valuable platform for language learners to practice using English clubs and provides a relaxed and friendly environment for practicing speaking and listening in English. Learners can participate in discussions, share experiences, and express themselves creatively. Unlike formal classrooms, English clubs offer a more informal atmosphere and freedom from syllabi, exams, and rigid learning objectives. The participant-centered approach encourages individuals to bring in their content, ask questions about their lives, and engage in small group discussions or activities, fostering creative expression through drama, poetry, storytelling, or visual communication. English clubs also play an important social role by allowing participants to meet new people and make friends. They can arrange schedules to allow time for post-club conversations and organize visits to local places of interest. Additionally, English clubs invite community members to share insights with participants.
